Tour in short:
You’ll live the Amazonian rainforest with its wild sounds while camping in hammock and you’ll wake up at the beaches of the Amazon river hearing the pink dolphins…
Day 1 – Arrival and entrance in the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Reception at the airport or the place of arrival
- Transfer fluvial in public boat to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Arrival and installation at the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Information about the plan
- Lunch at Tucuchira or in Leticia (depending on the time of arrival)
- 04:00 p.m. Entrance in the jungle for a walking tour living the dawn in the rainforest and on the way back doing a nocturnal walking tour
- Dinner
- Watching the stars from a relaxing net (depending on weather)

Day 2 – Camping in the jungle
- 08:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 10:00 a.m. Entrance into the jungle for one day and one night
- We will walk through primary jungle
- You’ll be accompanied by native guides showing you their knowledge of survival in the jungle
- Lunch in the jungle
- You’ll learn how to make a refuge of natural materials
- Rest and bath in a small jungle river
- Traditional fishing
- We will look for a place to spend the night in hammock with mosquito net
- Dinner
- Nocturnal walking tour
- Night of stories, myths and legends of the native guides
Day 3 – Camping at the beach
- 07:00 a.m. Return to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- 09:00 a.m. Breakfast
- Rest in hammock or net
- Visiting a native agriculture to get to know the different fruits and products of the region
- Lunch
- 02:00 p.m. Departure to the Amazon river to camp at the beach
- Watching the river dolphins
- Possibility to bath in the Amazon river
- We’ll install our camp at the beach
- Canoeing in front of the Amazon beach in typical canoe
- Sunset at the Amazon beach
- Dinner
- Campfire with stories of the native guides
Day 4 – Departure from the beach
- 06:30 a.m. Departure from the beach and transfer to the public boat stop of Santa Sofía
- 07:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 08:00 a.m. Transfer fluvial in public boat to Leticia
The tour includes:
- Camping in the jungle in hammock with mosquito net (1 night), camping at the beach with mosquito net (1 night) and accommodation in bed with mosquito net (1 night) with breakfast, dinner and lunch
- Activities described in the tour
- Drinking water
- Personal guide (speaks Spanish)
- Loan of rubber boots (let us know your size)
- Loan of rain capes
- Pick up at the airport or hotel
- All fluvial transports in public boat (from and to Leticia, last boat leaves at 1:30 p.m., until 3:00 p.m. transport in private boat possible with different cost)
- Medical assistance insurance
The tour does NOT include:
- Translator (it’s possible to organise tours with translator in English)
- Tourism tax ($ 35.000 COP at the airport of Leticia)
- Personal shopping
- Airline tickets
- Activities and nutrition not described in the plan
